Château Giscours knows how to maintain its place of choice in the hearts of wine lovers: with its great wine of course, Cru Classé de Margaux, but also with extremely high-quality variations, notably Haut-Médoc de Giscours. It gives the amateur the opportunity to treat themselves to the know-how of Cru Classé for a very low budget. Ideally located on beautiful Garonne gravel lands, the Cru Classé de Margaux has 100 hectares of vineyard: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, with a complement of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Run by the Albada Jelgersma family since 1995, the estate continues its quest for excellence thanks to the dynamism of Alexander van Beek.
Tasting notes
Rich, fleshy, the Haut-Médoc of Château Giscours always has great finesse of tannins and remarkable aromatic purity highlighted by fine spices; it is designed for long years of aging.
