Languedoc, France | White Wine | IGP Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert | ABV 13.5%
Grapes: Roussanne, Vermentino, Viognier
An elegant and textured white from the foothills of the Larzac, blending southern sunshine with finesse.
Crafted at the boutique Domaine de Saumarez near Montpellier, S’Blanc is a carefully composed blend of Mediterranean white varieties, grown organically on limestone and schist soils. The 2019 vintage is expressive and layered, with partial barrel ageing adding depth and complexity without overpowering the fruit.
Tasting Notes:
Floral aromas of honeysuckle and white peach lead into a palate of apricot, citrus peel, and toasted almond. Rich yet balanced, with a long, mineral-driven finish and a subtle note of spice.
Food Pairing:
A natural partner for grilled fish, creamy risottos, roast poultry, or soft cheeses like Brie and Tomme. Also excellent with North African or Provençal cuisine.
