Grape Variety
Appellation: Cheverny, Loire Valley
Comment
Cheverny is primarily known for its magnificent 17th-century château, but it is also a vineyard worth visiting, with the Domaine des Huards as its most prominent representative. Their vines are cultivated biodynamically, and their winemaking is as natural as possible.
Tasting notes
The Cuvée Pure, composed of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, evokes citrus and floral notes. On the palate, the wine reveals a fine minerality with subtle saline touches. The Chardonnay adds richness to the texture of this wine.
Food pairing
Pair this beautiful white cuvée with pan-seared scallops. For a vegetarian option, opt for a tartare of turnips and parsnips, garnished with capers, shallots, and fresh dill.
