Chinon is one of the most prestigious appellations in the Loire Valley, with a production almost exclusively dedicated to red wines. These are often quite powerful wines, but the "Soif de tendresse" cuvée from Domaine de Noiré offers a lighter and fruitier interpretation. The "herbaceous" character of the Cabernet Franc grape also brings a refreshing quality.

This is an organic wine with a soft texture, hence the name "Soif de tendresse."

Food pairing

I recommend opening this bottle with a charcuterie board. For a vegetarian option, try spreading sun-dried tomatoes and roasted peppers in olive oil on bruschettas.
