Côtes du Rhône, Rhône Valley, France | Red Wine | AOP Côtes du Rhône | ABV 13.5%
Grapes: Grenache, Syrah (plus small portions of Cinsault, Carignan & Mourvèdre)
A bold and fruit-rich Rhône red honouring nearly two centuries of family winemaking.
From the historic Pardon & Fils estate—which has roots dating back to 1820—this Cuvée 1820 is crafted from a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and a splash of traditional Rhône varieties, all sourced from warm, granite-limestone slopes. Hand-harvested and gently vinified in stainless steel, it's then blended for balance and bottled for immediate enjoyment.
Tasting Notes:
Deep garnet in colour, with intense aromas of blackcurrant, wild strawberry, and peony. The palate is warm and sumptuous—think ripe red and black fruit, nuanced by spice and a gourmet burlat cherry finish excellent alongside hard cheeses
Why We Love It:
Cuvée 1820 offers the ripe, expressive fruit and gentle warmth of a classic Southern Rhône—yet with finesse and polish that reflect Pardon’s long-standing winemaking heritage. A satisfying, versatile red that balances approachability with depth.
