It all began in 1865 with an exceptional couple, Jacques and Françoise Rochet. This duo bought a property between Dordogne and Garonne, recognized for the richness of its soils and its exceptional terroir (formerly owned by the Benedictines of the medieval city of La Réole). They move forward and build their family history around 3 founding values: work, adaptability and openness to the world. Thanks to the transmission of their know-how and their family values, generations of winegrowers succeed one another and the estate today has 6 châteaux on more than 100 hectares.
Tasting notes
Its ruby red colour still reflects the purple nuances of its youth. Red fruits and wild berries make up the freshness of its bouquet. On the palate, the attack is frank and fruity with notes of cherry typical of Merlot, giving way to tannins melted into the length..
