Former Graves property located in Arbanats belonging to the Dozier family. Philippe and Fabrice Reynaud acquired it in 2015 and revitalized this sleeping gem. Everything that is rare is precious, like the atypical clay-limestone soil on which most of its vineyard flourishes. A unique characteristic that makes Château Lagrange a Graves apart, powerful, with an assertive personality. This demanding terroir requires effort, involvement and perseverance. It takes time to work the vines and shape this wine, just as it takes time to transform a precious stone into a jewel... It is a wine that has to be earned, that can be tamed, and that takes its time to then establish itself as a must-have. Staves oak barrels for 12 months.
Tasting notes
Benefiting from a quality terroir, this wine gives us a brilliant color with purple reflections. Nose of great complexity, quite intense. Aromas of very ripe black fruits. The mouth is full, the aromas of the nose return and the velvety surprises very pleasantly. Wine of great class with finesse and good balance.
